HeadShave Canada

As I stated in an earlier posting, I registered for HeadShave Canada’s fund raising head shave event in order to do my little part in contributing. What that meant that I had to have my hair chopped off! I know, I know, what a travesty; but it was for a worth cause and I have managed to raise $580 in my efforts.

It was so great to get the support of friends, family and co-workers in my efforts to raise money for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. I discovered just how many people have been affected by cancer and it was great to see how much support I while raising money.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and donations, it means a lot to me.

To the left is a before and after shot of me.

MeI have been receiving notices lately of several family friends and neighbours from back in the Toronto area that have recently been diagnosed with cancer. I know that over the past while cancer has affected a great number of us very closely. I have decided that I would really like to do all that I can to support cancer research because I understand that it is a very important cause. As such, I have decided to join HeadShave Canada and the Alberta Cancer Foundations efforts by getting my head shaved on March 26.

I would like to ask anyone and everyone to sponsor me in my efforts. I am pasting a link to the sponsorship page below, if you decide that you would like to sponsor me, there is a large button on the page that can be clicked to donate online.
