Ideas for New Tutorials
Hey all,
I have found in the past that I learn a lot when writing tutorials. And based on the comments that I receive, they tend to help others as well.
I am in the mood to write a couple more tutorials but I would like to take suggestions as to what to write about. A couple of ideas that I have had are the following:
Box2d Physics – a thorough introduction
Something more advanced with Papervision
How to write Pure AS, no more need for Document classes
Intro to Away 3D
something else?

Looking for tutorial on how to create a simple navigable environment maybe mapped on the inside of a sphere with some 3d planes that are links. Maybe a little info on how to tweak the feel of the navigation; some sites have this nice sort of gliding sensation so the movement or rotation slows down gradually. I am a 3dsmax user so any thing using max would be great, but I can usually apply concepts from other 3d programs.

Hello there. First of all, let me thank you for the GREAT tutorials on Papervision3D, I really enjoyed reading them! I am not really a 3D designer or anything but I am willing to learn. I have a tutorial from Lynda.com that will get me through the basics of 3ds Max, and from there I want to start developing 3D websites and stuff like that in Flash using Papervision3D. So, replying to your question, I’d like to see a couple of tutorials on some advanced stuff using Papervision3D, why not try something like: http://www.thetoke.com (I really liked this site and I guess the carousel was built in 3D).
I will go on with my 3D and Papervision3D education and I will definitely check back to stay updated with the content of yours site. Hopefully I’ll read a few more Papervision3D tutorials on your site.
